The BAR pubs were not Mo letters but rather advisories or latest news flashes. I had the impression that at the time I joined, BAR pubs were a new thing. I seem to remember them beginning in about 1990 or so, although I could be wrong about that. None I ever saw, which would have been all that were published from the time I joined, were promoting pedophilia in any way.

The three main incriminating Mo letters that discussed child sex were: The Little Girl Dream, 1976; Child Brides, 1977; and The Devil Hates Sex, 1980. And of course The Story of Davidito which was from 1975 onwards. Sex of course was always discussed, and Teen Sex was published in 1985 although it was suggesting that teens start abstaining, but the first three were the letters that opened the doors for adult/child contact. But I do believe that there were a lot of "half-hearts" when it came to child sex though.
