You are actually confirming something I had suspected all along. The WS teams were more hard core than the regular front homes. I am still exkeptical about the whole thing because of the ease of moving between the more and the less sold-out homes that some people were always doing.
You see, you mention 1983 as the beginning of the end for free love and all of that. But it was around those years when the BAR letters started being more frequent, and some of them were dishing out doctrines of hard-core pedophilia.
In other words, unless your memory is playing with the time period, some homes were getting a certain type of message while others were getting something else.
This is quite a revelation.
