Jo,

You were the one who used the term "hearsay" to critisise the postings I made concerning abstinence vs. condoms.

Did you bother to read the reports at the links I provided in the message? I gave several examples of articles that support my position that condoms are at best a distant third place behind abstinence and manogamy, and proof that the ABC program in Uganda is most effective in reducing the HIV rate because of abstinence, not condoms.

None of my previous postings has said anything about homosexuals, so why are you trying to make that an issue? I have identified Planned Parenthood specifically in my criticisms of groups that often suppress the ineffectiveness of condoms for preventing STDs. I'm not aware that Planned Parenthood is a gay advocacy group.

Since you have tried to make this a gay issue, I will say that if you believe that all homosexual advocacy groups try to discourage behavior that can lead to transmission of HIV, then you are sadly mistaken. I have read news articles about how these groups have used tax dollars to host how-to classes in sodomy. Condoms were never intended to hold up under such usage, and when they fail, transmissions of HIV is often the result.

I don't know where you stand on homosexualityk, Jo, but I am pretty certain of what God thinks of it. Jesus loves the sinner, and that includes homosexuals. If they repent, He will forgive, but if not, they will not enter into the kingdom of heaven. The same goes for heterosexuals who committ sin, sexual or otherwise. He that hath the Son hath life. He that hath not the Son hath not life, but the wrath of God abideth upon him.

Alan
