good disciples and bad disciples

but whose disciples? Jesus quotes and MO quotes were memorized and followed but when there was a discrepancy, people would decide with a certain level of freedom. Albatros is right in pointing out that the letters were enough to show a very deep spiritual problem in David Berg's teachings and those of us who stayed in spite of those signs bare some responsibility. It is not to say that all of us are guilty of specific criminal acts but we cannot brush off our participation in the dynamics. We were lied and abused and even brought op to a point of addiction where leaving was not a real option at the time, but it doesn't lessen our responsibility and history.

Having gained the courage to leave does not make us better than those who still are in the cult unless we are SGA who have hated that system since day one and left as soon as it was possible.
