Yes, health is definitly an issue that will start being more of an issue like never before. Menopause is an issue that has been "spiritually" whisked away... Zerby says a women should just pray to their "jesus" and since he understands than he'll give them reprieve from their symptoms. This includes all the symptoms. She arrogently mentioned that since the lifestyle in the F. is far superior than mainstream society, then their women should have to have the same symptoms as the "system". I for one, had menopause symptoms for 10 years and I didn't know what the heck was my problem until we finally left.
Some older woman I know are obviously have osteoporoses and are just limping alone... doing the best they can. Large homes like the HCS with lots of middle aged women often had "feline attacks" because of the mood swings of their female population. These women were prayed for
and counselled to "get the victory" or their personality differences, etc.
GN's were written for menoapause, but mainly spiritualized the situation. Lack of libido meant you just weren't "using it"... but do "it" anyway and "you'll get the victory" (SEX is the only radical idea tha keeps the F. seperate from mainstream Christianity, so if you're not sexy... you're simply not radical enough!)
I feel sorry for the ones who aren't in western countries. The ones who don't get health insurance and can't get a health check regulary are/will suffer. But even though the "Charter" gives everyone the right to go to the doctor anytime, it's still looked down on as a "lack of faith". Since EVERYTHING should be prayed about... get a prophecy about, then when their "jesus" says to "just hold on", or "trust me"... then they take it as to not go to the doctor. Especially if it's not a life and death situation... like many health issues aren't because they sort of creep up with small symptoms and we won't find out what it is until we have a health check.
So, this new "restructuring" is probably one way to get rid of the "old farts" and let the youth take over the revolution. Zerby is strongly implying that the "youth have what it takes", so they should be the highest level of dedication because they "have so much to give"... yes, they have their youth, the future and not so many health issues.
