Well, you are mistakenly saying that I am such and such. What I said is: "What If I am anti abortion and also believe in women's right to choose." I have known many people who have told me exactly that. Do you want to know what I believe on that matter? Then ask me instead of putting words in my mouth.

You say I dance around... but the reality is that you are dancing around by using political language and trying to disgise the main point, that it is possible to see the validity of two contradictory points. If you cannot see this possibility, then a "debate" is futile.

Let's look at another contradiction: killing. War is killing. Do you see any contradiction there? Maybe you bought the premise of that famous Berg sanctioned movie: Sgt. York, that killing to prevent another killing is justified. If you need that explanation to justify your actions, that's fine but certainly it is not the only position. In fact, even the US militaqry accepts conscious objectors because they recognize that not everybody can kill with clear conscience. Their acceptance is acknowledging that there are many degrees in between the extremes.

That was my comment about. If you want to talk about abortions, then you missed the point. My point, again, was to say that there is something beyond the two extremes but that the gray in between is desdained by the extremes.

If your interest is to discuss abortion rights or the rights of the unborn, my opinion is that until we don't solve the problem of supplying real options to single parents, it is a useless discussion. Also in my opinion, the solution, or help in the right direction, is education, but too bad this government has decided to cut funds to many educational programs that were very successful, like HeadStart. What is your solution? Do you have one? If you say abstinence, you may be partially right but need to go out a little bit more and see what happens in real life.

So, out of the many points, what do you really want to debate? Or is it that you are trying to put me down for some reason? And then you think that antiabortion is the most important issue in this election? It is stupid to vote based only on one issue. I would say that slavery and expploitation of uneducated people is also a valid one. I used those examples to point out the fact of polarization in political discourse. It may be useful at some points but taken to the extremes, it is dangerous. But I guess this point got lost in your reading.

If you think that a voter should pick their candidate based only on one issue, then at least rank the importance of that issue and others.
To me, the war is also an important issue, as are the lies of its justification done by this governmt.

I just remember. you favor the war and the killings. Forget the lies of WMD or the terrorist link of Sadam and BinLaden. Oh well.

There you have a whole lot of things to debate, pick your theme. I'll be back later. Then I'll pick if I want to debate those or not.

Oh, yes. So you don't think that human exploitation, or the lack of support of government to the country's population is nonsense? Now, that is a theme I would like to explore. Why do you think so?
