Who be messin' with the owner's business in de first place? You say thief, you say judge, you say son, daughter, then there be these oxen. That sound like a bunch of tomfool business to me.

I never saw no "pit of heaps" in all my born days. What in the land of Goshen is this "heap"? That ain't no colored word, no sir. Ain't no white word I ever heard neither. Is you Chinese?
