Introductions like that, although meant to be helpful, can be somewhat... "misleading" for lack of a better word.

This site wasn't designed to cater to any one specific generation. Over the years, there came about this misunderstanding that exFamily.org was by FGs for FGs, and was by default a "FG space." This idea might have been borne of the MovingOn.org philosophy of keeping their own site a SG space, by and for SGs. It's very understandable they needed their own space, but it seems everyone just assumed this was what we wanted too. So we get SGs posting here unnecssarily apologizing for "intruding" on a FG site.

Well, some of the people behind the site do not even resemble FGs. They don't neatly fall into first or second generation and cannot identify accordingly, and as such should really be called in-between-Gs or multi-generational-Gs. Personally, I find it hard to identify myself along G lines. I often find myself having much more in common with SGs than any other demographic.

exFmaily.org is for all-Gs, so unless someone raises the understandable issue of needing their own space, I'd like to suggest we don't make a thing out of the G thing.
