I just didn't hear anyone calling you a Nazi Sympathizer, but rather, saying that if they were (in your eyes) a nazi hunter, which is better, hunter or sympathizer?
Maybe it is miscommunication, but just like you can express what you are feeling and thinking, so can others. I am one voice on this board. One. I'm not anybody's personal friend here. No ones. The opinions I express here are solely mine. If no one posted, this would be a blank wall. So, hopefully you will feel free to post what you think and by the same token, I know I will.
I do wish you well and I think it is admirable that the proceeds of your book are going to support Meadowhaven. There is so little available for recovery from high demand orgs/cults or whatever anyone calls "it" or "them". Quite often people have no connections on the outside to pay for this and I know (from what I have gathered looking at the Meadowhaven site) you are quite involved in helping people who have left. Thanks for clarifying what you meant about the groups that came to speak at ICSA, though I can understand why some didn't stomach that, knowing that for so many, it is just "PR" and not genuine. That is what is missing, the genuine factor. That could promote so much healing. Active members can't be genuine. I know I couldn't when in TF. I think something more along the lines of the what happened in South Africa, post apartheid, where people who were perpetrators under that regime understood they could come forward without prosecution and be confronted by the people they hurt, without excusing themselves but admitting that past, that is something I'd like to see happen. But I am not holding my breath for that.
I do remember while I was still in TF, long ago, someone said something to me that was very confrontational (not to me personally, but about TF) and that stuck with me and was one of many incidents that were the catalyst to jump out of the fire...
Anyway, I wish you well. I appreciate what you do, and I appreciate what Perry does and I appreciate that there are different perspectives though I may be very against some! (like "My Conclusion")
