Berg and TFI today uses advanced unlogic to manipulate the mind. In it's simplest form, "a cow is an animal, therefore an animal is a cow."

From there they get "God is love, therefore love is God."

Or "lovers have sex, therefore sex is love."

And then "if you love, you have sex."

Or "love your children and have sex with them too."

They manipulate conditions like:
saved = good
unsaved = bad
You are bad (a sinner) because of rules you can't possibly follow, and need to be saved.

To get this:
Now you are saved you are no longer bad, and there are no rules to make you bad. There are no rules.

Or this double-bind:
You are by default bad so I can throw the rule book (letters) at you and say you didn't obey them. You are bad because you try to follow the rules too much when there are no rules now that you're good and don't need them.

That opens up a range of possibilities for discipline by leaders who need to remold and break you. They get to tell you you weren't obeying the rules or not following God.

Berg's narcissistic logic which spawned a movement:
I am special.
My mother who is special told me I am special.
That makes ne very very special
Since I am very very special I will do something very very special in my lifetime.
Since I am so special and will die someday, the world will die with me.
Since I am so special and the world will die with me, I am the end-time prophet.
Since I am the end-time prophet and there are no rules, you have to do whatever I say.
