No. Don't want to lighten up. But thanks for the suggestion. ;)
Just a quesh..
When you say two doctors said the Catholic Church was a cult, does that mean you believe this is what most of the world beleives about the Catholic church? Or even most Doctors? I don't.
That surprises me.
Hey if you write something under the name "Peabody" and I have no clue who you are then how do I know how you meant what you write about?
And when you say I am preaching to the choir, well first of all I have no clue where you stand from one post to the next. Secondly, I am not preaching to anyone. (Yes I do realize you were using a figure of speech) Just stating an opinion about the Family and the use of the name "New Religious Movement".
I don't think doctors that say the Catholic church is a cult and chalk that church up to being basically the same thing as the Family shows they have a good grasp of what a destructive cult is.
I can remember going to a workshop once where all these "professionals" were busy cashing in on the latest cashcow, treatment of "MPD" for victims of "Satanic Rituals". They were so misinformed about it and got into an orgasmic frenzy over the potential for long term lucrative treatment for this disorder that they became a sort of psych cult of their own where they were treating people for MPD and assigning all these personalities under hypnosis. It was long term profitable screwing of the insurance companies until it got exposed for what it was.
That hospital (Spring Shadows Glen) got shut down.
So talk to me about how you feel if you want to because if you post articles and I respond to those I am responding to the subject matter and not to you personally or how you might or might not think.
I don't feel threatened by different points of view or afraid to say what mine is. Doesn't seem that you are either.
