Yes I understand that, it's as if the name "Jesus" is a trigger in itself. Even for me I can not call Jesus "lover of my soul" or sing songs that implies that sort of intimacy. I hate it. It's a trigger for me.
I more often then not start my prayers "Dear Heavenly Father" and often when speaking or writing say things like God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Because of the reasons you state. I've only just recently been able to say "love" without going through the whole agape thing.
Anyway I'm glad we can respect each other even if we don't agree. I think we can understand each other on a lot of levels.
