Well, for me any force be it calculated in form of a vector or else or simply felt by us has origin direction & measure...creatio ex nihilio I simply don't understand, may be some bright atheist can explain that to me...so also a driving force, that
results in people being kind to each other I would like to get to know better.People are mostly named after their parents, so they are taught about their origins as far as they can be told & I like to stretch that as far as possible & am certain, that I don't end up at a protozoon as for my ancestor...

Energy I think it to have origin, also in a "spiritual" way.

You think I portrayed, defined atheists in a pretty bad manner??Well, may be a webpage of them will suffice then...I hate to do people injustice, if I can help it (but honestly I don't see my error yet in my defining them):

If you look up any dictionary about spirit..like
Webster's, you must admit, that there is not only a positivistic explanation, rendering/usage of the word, but rather also a theistic one.

Therefore - the way I use the word - an atheist cannot be spiritual, although he/she can have nice characteristics, he/she explains them different, where they are from...he /she is not interested in "my origin", that is God...hence my question, whether you would use spiritual also rather metaphorical as Susie suggested for God.
By the way, in the epistles of the NT you find described, how a Christian can & should be (mature to...it's all about a ripening process & bearing fruit) or also how he/she shouldn't be.
