She is one very strange bird, imo. I watch her late at night sometimes on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), the Catholic cable channel that was started by Mother Angelica. The RC Church has it's own tradition of charismatics, mystics and seers, and Kuhlmann is right at home.

I'm not nearly as familiar with the pentecostal preachers as I am with the more mainstream evangelicals. Maybe I am a little more skeptical of the pentecostals than the evangelicals. I can't think of a single charismatic preacher that I trust even a little bit. They communicate too much emotionalism for my analytic disposition.

To be honest, I always liked and respected Billy Graham. I liked listening to him as a child, and I never got really, seriously turned off by him, even though I'm not a fundamentalist. For all the money he raised through his crusades, he didn't live that high on the food chain. He paid his taxes. He was also able to admit his mistakes and apologize, e.g., the time he was exposed on a White House tape takling to Nixon and agreeing with some anti-semitic sentiments. The last time I watched an interview with him, it seemed like he's mellowed out quite a bit from his firey youth and spoke with a measure of wisdom and compassionate understanding.
