You prove my point: Faith is a decision. One can decide to believe despite being faced unanswerable
questions. In fact everyone who has a faith pretty much does that.
One can also choose to believe after a little healthy self-scrutiny. There is nothing so scary about it. To me that is what verses like 'work out your own salvation' mean.
