There is sure an environmental issue necessarily coming from the Bible for believers...nothing shall hurt nor destroy on his holy mountain...Berg once also used something similar to have COG move around in covered horsewagons...few tried it I think for short time...never mind...good try...anyway, I think I often admired the Amish, but since I heard about their strange inbreeding etc, I got second thoughts...just to say, I think God meant for man to also take care of the earth & not to just conquer it & leave a junkpile....by the way that's also part of the law to dig a hole & bury once s.it...
but see what else you get, if you enter the versesection, googling it:

Any comments??
May be I am wrong, but as I overflew the article I got the impression, that the author might have some things backward...but I shall take time to read it more thoroughly.
It's may be not an issue at your university...environment....the climate change (no matter who caused it to begin with), but it's a huge problem in the third world...rising sea levels (islands)...the desert in Africa spreading more...IMO it takes at least concern...even a change of lifestyle. The yardstick cannot be, what is taught at a certain university, but what do we think is the C R E A T O R thinking about it.
(What is the word revealing about it)
