I had the Proof tract memorized, and I taught it straight from my Bible, along with all the Daniel classes, etc. But today at this the place I'm in in my journey I'm not a Bible believing Christian.
So, at least in my case, length of time in the Family doesn't really have anything to do with it. In fact it could be that the longer some of us were in the Fam the greater our skepticsm concerning Bible teachings is going to be.
The way I understand things about this board is that we are free to share such beliefs without the threat of being judged, for example, the points of view Billy has.
Therefore I feel obliged to point out to you that some of what you posted sounds somewhat judgemental, specifically: “It's obvious, that you didn't spend too much time in the family...so it's obvious you have such a mixed up view of Christ (and the Bible)...In a way I suggest, that you get first busy reading something along that line, before your opinion of the Bible gets even lower than the low level you already attained. Pity!!”
(I think CB's a good example of how to reply. She has a way of introducing her feelings in a stimulating, thought provoking, non threatening way. Of course she's not the only one that does this well.)
We are all different, aren't we?
