MG does have a point. It would be a mistake to attribute his critique of your tone solely to which "side" he's taken re. Christianity. For the sake of keeping things civil, you should keep it "refined," even if others fall short. The way you put it, you don't want to bother with courtesy since people don't see it the same as you in the end?
