"but what the heck do
agressive atheists know what I need? They are more than presumptious, they're as arrogant as they claim the religionists to be & in that they're mostly/often right.
What is more, that many of the ardent proponents of atheism don't hold too much of any degree in the fields of Physics, mathematics or chemistry...moreover, it would take at least a PHD in all those fields...plus some in biology & what have you...for the more scientists really know, they realise, that they don't really have a clue."

I can respect that you have a belief even though it is not mine. I am not even atheist, but agnostic. It is understandable to me how many people leave the Family or something similar and become agnostic or atheist. It's easy to see that many keep or develop some sort of religious faith.
Frankly, I am glad we are free, post Family, to make our own paths and they do vary a lot. I guess that is why Journeys does not limit itself to Christianity after the Family but neither does it exclude Christianity after the Family. I am glad for that because then there can be discussions and disagreements and it doesn't mean one side is right or wrong, just that there are different perspectives and it is OKAY HERE to have differing ones!

Interestingly, TF used to say it was Einstein who said that
'a watch has a maker, so how much more does the world in all it's complexity, have a creator.'
-or something like that. In actuality, Einstein did not say that, and neither did he have a belief in a personal God and I can't think of anyone who represents a person who is both AWED and KNOWLEDGEABLE of Mathematics and Science as well as how much he did NOT know.
Here is a list of Einstein quotes which I found interesting:

Einstein knew he was far from having all the answers. So did Carl Sagan.
Neither of them would dream of saying they had all the answers.
I know that was your point, that atheists don't have all the answers. Who does?
What you say about a sender and a recipient, I guess that is like numbers, they are infinite.
No beginning, no end.
I was amazed when faxes were created, how words and photos could be sent from one place to another instantly. I still am amazed by that.
But then again, I am one of those people without a degree or a penchant for mathematics.
