I appreciate your response...I am on the verge of a short vacation...so I am in the preparation hassles...I appreciate different opinions & they should definetely be voiced here...but what I definetely dislike is this proud attitude, which some seem to "eminate": oh one day man will solve all that....that's giving people may be a false hope & puts the burden & emphasis on people....I just happened to have read an interview with a mathematician & he was rather an agnostic, but he highly doubted that a super formula ...the godly one...so to speak...could be found...in a recent article of German Spiegel about atheists(Spiegel itself is rather agnostic or atheistic) it also mentioned besides Dawkins an Italian mathematician as some driving force, to make atheism more popular...funny, that the Spiegel did come to the conclusion, that many an atheist behaves in their debate like the religionists they combat...being rather fierceful & I have witnessed that several times...so I can really do
without all that aggressiveness from there side...fully knowing, that religionists are guilty of it too...which I admitted to...
So mathematicians like Gödel knew about the problems infinitesimal calculation poses on the "logical front" for limited man...not ackknowledging these limitations is not even scientific/logical & that's what the positivists always pride themselves to be: very reasonable...but there I feel they contradict themselves...not ackknowledging the limitations.
Mentioned mathematician said...we hardly understand Biology...& I wholehardly agree...Biology is a "mixture" at least of Physics(maths)..Chemisty &Biology..plus some more from other fields..so you'd have to have at the minimum some degrees in all those fields to know what you talk aout...IMO Dawkin is undereducated for the big mouth he has...he should study some more...but I figure...he likes to "evangelise" with the little/big knowledge he has.Sad.
