The NKJV goes out of the way to agree with the more notorious corruptions. They let on that the translation, 'at first' was just to update a few archaic words but later admited in the preface that they had done much more. They even changed the Bible to support the Catholic practice of confessionals.
EG. James 5:16a "Confess your faults one to another and pray that ye may be healed." is changed to 'confess your sins'. Is, 'fault' an archaic word? Two different words, two different meanings. Multiply the subtle changes by xxx and you have a whole new type of Christianity. Very subtle, very slick. Too bad the Lord didn't authorize them to produce a updated KJV (with just a very few words updated) but in that case they couldn't have obtained a copyright. Oh oh!; No Mr. Money! That would go up against all their principles. Today there is such a severe shortage of good, clear, honest, and faithful men that producing a similar KJV revision is very unlikely.
