When you wrote this:
"man's heart is evil from his youth Gen.8:21 emphasis: youth, for me...but not necessarily by birth?!
James 1:15 is more for me in connection with the spiritual side of sin...being tempted...and biblically Adam & Eve were adults, not babies
Further Romans 3 is missed out entirely, but to me the most important reference.
In the great repentance-Psalm 51 David puts it like this:...I was shapen in iniquity;and in sin did my mother conceive me...nonetheless John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit by birth (also possible, you see?!) ...the counterpart would be some sort of Rosemaries baby...a movie I saw before joining...pardon me...it came to my mind."

I thought you were implying here (for a minute) that people were evil by birth (shapen in iniquity-born in sin) and that an exception was a child "filled with the holy spirit" before birth".
Then there was a mention of Rosemary's Baby, so I asked my question- somewhat tongue in cheek!
That's why I said "no meanness intended!"

I just don't see children as born in sin or people as evil or lost without religion. I don't deny that there are many healthy families that have religious beliefs.
Ghandi was Hindu and a very spiritual person. I have met Atheists that are very spiritual people and also Christians that are.

Talking on a chat board is just not the same as sitting at a table for a casual conversation. Right now things are pretty chaotic at home. My concentration is not all that great.
