"I appreciate some aspects of American Christianity but not everything is kosher. My positive and positive inclination towards American Christianity doesn't turn off my critical thinking and eliminate other aspects, such as the fact that it is an arm of cultural domination abroad. If that is negative, so be it. I think the world is better because of Jesus but the activism of many of His followers has had mixed results."

There are denominations in America that have strayed from foundational teachings in the Bible. Perhaps you've observed Christian missionaries or TV evangelists that fall within this group. I don't recall that you've stated clearly where you get your impressions. However, Christianity in America is not monolithic. You make a mistake by referring to Christianity in the US as American Christianity.

There is no "American Christianity." There may be, however, some characteristics of Christianity in America that are not present in other countries, but I have can't find American Christianity in the telephone book.

"I don't know if you count yourself Christian, I do. I don't know if you consider yourself an American Christian, I don't. In either case, ask yourself about the ideas in the American Christian foundation that the country was a Christian country since its inception (not a business operation based in the U.K.), that the pilgrims came to America with Christian intentions not to kill the natives, etc. Good luck."

Yes, I do count myself as a Christian.

If you are trying to say that all Christians that came to this country slaughtered the Native Americans, that is ridiculous. First of all, not all people who came to the New World were of the same mind or intent. Many were nominal Christians. There was no central governing power for quite some time. People were operating freely or within colonies. Roman Catholics had missions in Texas and California. If the mistreatment of the Native American is the source of your problem with "American Christianity" as you call it, then you've strayed from your original proposition whatever it was.
