I like your summary/view...I also wanted to add the sex-angle...though "publicly"..statelaw-wise...the US appears more prudish then let's say France or Sweden, but I like your Hugh Hefner-angle...in booksales, topicwise, the biography of sex-addicts seems to be on the rise, as I read...in the US that is...so it has been & still is the kind of No. 1 them not only over there but anywhere & I think in private among themselves they had since long their "sexual liberation"...& I agree, that unfortunately got exported through Berg & us...good point.

But I should make a point reg.: "indigenous", as we briefly returned to India 89, I was "shocked" to see how nationalised the Combos there were, with hardly any foreigners...also, Berg was totally bent on demoting his own kids & not promoting them very much or less than you could "expect"..."he did have certain principles" for whatever reason...
