Thanx a lot!! That's so great, it should be liberating for anybody. I also appreciate your other post on that link. It seems so easy for folks to be closed-minded. Since I came back to the US, it blows me away how many very intelligent, yet closed-minded people I run into. As far as the religious right goes, well, I think they're still eat-up with that old "Manifest-Destiny" thing from long ago. For a country so young, it's quite arrogant to think so much has been accomplished. I mean how falsely prideful is it for the white man to go to such a pristine continent, steal it all from the simple-living natives, get African slave labour to build it all up, and then try to take credit for it al; "Oh, see how God has blessed us!" I think what's happening globally is what Isaiah was talking about when he prophesied that the "...high places would be brought low and the low places high, to make plain the path... ." It all seems to be happening in short order for the US.
