One thought occurs: Another "one flesh" situation is also described in Scripture. A person becomes "one flesh" upon engaging in sex with a prostitute. 1 Cor 6 says, of various sex sins, "such were some of you...but you were washed...sanctified...etc".
Ergo...is the original language/logic/history consistent with the author's position/interpretation of history?
I wonder. Lots of TF exers had multiple partners, with a lot of "one flesh" situations as a result.
What does one do with that?
