...I post quite a lot...things which interest me &
and then others do the same, just what happens to interest them, nothing earthshaking & may be that's an inflational use of the board : (
I am not married, so that's one reason; I can split some time off as I decide & want it...right now we work shorttime...a bit more time..

I could post also at my "favourite" Bible-board, there I am in the "typical" reader-mode.They are split-offs of the brethren-movement...very good Bible-knowledge, but pretty much overtaken by their own perception of the Word, it's meaning.Seldom, that you read a conditional tense there in their posts...it's all "obvious" to them...at least to the most outspoken.Reading there is training for me, if they know something, I haven't heard or thought yet...then I learned something...which happens often. Then there are times, where I think they could use some new angle to something, based on the Word, but then I don't take the time...I rather spend it here...more "comfortable"...

At home though, I wished I displayed always the sanity, you assume of me.I can be very shorttempered, when there's too much sand/dirt..too litle oil in the gears...the handling of the daily chores.I hope it further improves though...I faced the problem & shortcoming & am determined to handle the daily life with lots more peace.

OT2 what I like about you is, that you really stand up for your convictions...I used to be , when younger - a man pleaser.I usually could read people's hopes & expectations & would flatter them accordingly...I didn't want to be negative or a troublemaker.. a burden for others.I also gave lots of people a big benefit of the doubt...assuming people wanted to also be good to me...in the consequence I got cheated several times. Now I have learned, that protecting myself and my interests is not the same as being selfish.

I am sure we can continue to learn from other people's efforts even if the "charm at the boards" is not the same as sitting together in a club or church.

I agree with you on etiquette...we can certainly improve on that & I have my share of faults of barging in...you politely overlook them or you weren't around then ; )
Also I was thinking, it certainly would help, if people could give a little intro to themselves, if they're new at the boards...everywhereelse they seem to do it...as a standard.I just think that's normal politeness...

Yeah, when you're younger, one tends to be more hotblooded...kindness certainly makes friends and not the winning an argument-attitude.The ability to let things pass I think has also to do with trust...trust in HIM, that He can fix it where things went wrong or where I was wronged...and not wanting to have that done overnight...
I close here...good night!All the best 2U
