"dream-woman...who kind of is an exploited (sexual &/or whatnot...not really shown) in the house of a rich goon...the "hero" is hoping, that his childhood-love would watch the show & thereby regain contact...apart for the the title-affront slumdog...not liked by many indians ( but that's how the Indians themselves seem to treat the slum-dwellers)...and from the initial scene where the child-protagonist jumps into the cesspool, because the door has been barred by his friend...in order to see his cineastic hero Amitabh Bachchan...there is not a scene, which I think the Indians themselves should dislike.I don't know about the torture-methods in the policestation...may be exaggerated???Would like to read more about that in Amnesty international-reports...
For me it's more about real love wins...what more could I wish...20Mill. Rupees as a fringe benefit.
