I lived in India during the eighties for 5 years...also when Indira Gandhi was shot!!..by her Sikh guards...
I was mated with an Indian girl for a short time...even in a Sikh gurudwara in Delhi...
I am probably Philo-Indian...I think, I could savely say that...there is lots of admiration on my side...I have hundreds of Bollywood-movies and some are the most moving movies I have seen to date...causing me to cry like no other "western-bred-movie"
However the massacres in Gujurat and Orissa and elsewhere are just horific..plus dozens of others who have happened while and since seperation...you should also look at the agendas of fanatic Hindus...the RSS is...from what I remember/know...responsible for Gandhi's death and he wasn't even pro-Christian...more pluralistic, if anything.
RSSers...from what I personally know...beat up regularly "activists" of other faith and the list is longer than I have time now...but with your love for India and for the truth...I presume...you can google etc. lots about it!!!
