Thank you Josh. I wish I had you for my friend when I was a young man, with the wisdom you now have. But I suspect that if we both were youths, and hanging out, that we would probably have been just two more hellraisers. Why is it, that so many in every new generation of youth incline to think of themselves as wiser than those who have already passed through many of life's trials and troubles?
Stranger yet, why it that some grow in wisdom through life's experiences while others repeat the same self destructive patterns right unto the end?
Could it be that life's problems, in some cases anyway, have a way of humbling a person to the point that they start looking to God for help and wisdom while others never quite shake the hold that pride has over their spirits?
