I think you and I pretty much have the same attitude. BTW, I see faith as not only related to the spiritual or religious. I see it in everything because we are creatures of habit. Playing with fire is a good example.
It is only after burning ourselves (more than once in some types of "burning") that we learn not to play with fire. Afterwords, we don't touch the hot stove. It is an action led by faith that if we touch it we will burn. Faith is a form of learning because we are certain about something that we don't doubt its result. Once we know the recipe, we know that by following it we will get a certain result is most of the time simple faith, the faith of a baby. LOL.
