I like the "more later" part.
And will also venture to say that we will not agree because this discussion carries two different things, logic and faith, that will, at one point or another, clash.
We will not agree either for another reason, because we are different, and insist on going deeper into the unseen, meaning things of the spirit, which cannot be understood by the natural man, meaning logic.
Does this mean that the spiritual man cannot be logic? No, but logic cannot go into spiritual things.
Is there another type of logic that would or could go into spiritual things? Of course, the logic of GOd.
I am sure you are familiar with Saint Augustine (although many won't call him Saint) then you are familiar with his proof of God in The City of God. Revelation appears as the fifth way to know God, though incompletely. Revelation is the substance of faith, the bridge between logic and complete knowledge.
That is complete knowledge because all is clear, there are no questions. But there also are no questions when we know nothing, there is no curiosity because we know nothing, because what we think we know doesn't have any thing that gets our attention. It is a closed system and we would be in it, as we were in the cult. It is knowing nothing because all that was given to us was a bunch of nonsense and a mantra to believe without questioning. The no questioning is what gave it the appearance of revelation when in fact was conditioning us to remain question-less, and ignorant. Its real objective was to feed the natural man and kill the spiritual man.
And this is all for me on this for now. Maybe we'll catch up with each other again later, much later. Thank you for the inspiration to reach beyond.
Peace.
