Let me say that Christ was in the picture in each of these relationships I mentioned. My ex-wife is one of the most religious people you'll ever meet, and my ex-bloodsucker-girlfriends were Christian too.
In my book, there are such things as evil Christians and "Godly" atheists (an oxymoron, but I think you might know what I mean). Christianity alone has nothing to do with whether or not a marriage works. Just because two people are "Christians" is no guarantee a marriage is going to last, or no clear-cut reason that two people should stay married (my own marriage as a case in point). You are right that it is a deep subject. There's no way you can tell me we were supposed to be together or that it was God's will. That's what TF leadership pushed for and it was wrong, and it was hell, and it ended up screwing up my children's lives too.
