When I discovered that mia(s) in 1.Tim 3:2 is a numeral and not an indefinite article it sure was one of those "full/half stops" downhill...arguing formerly for remarriage under circumstances and blah blah... a remarried "brother" cannot have any elder function in the community of the brethren e.g....it's not allowed...I am not sure whether they share communion or not...not to speak of the catholics...and they do their "loveaffairs" behind the back out of sight...often with the female houseservant.

Bill Johnson's ministry somewhat ...though knowing little to nothing about it...tried to google it...reminds me of special fellowships the homosexuals have e.g....kind of the "outcasts" getting together under some type of leadership...that's a bit how I view him

But the mainstream/protestant churches seem to be "hellbend" to try to include the "stray sheep"...appealing to all...excluding none...appeasement...peace to all policy...

It also kind of resembles the case of Dr. Margot Käßmann...the female head-bishop of the German Lutheran council....shorthaired...divorced
(ex-mate also a lutheran pastor).

The russian orthodox church who was for 50 years on good relations and terms with the German Lutheran church ...because of her...put the relations on freeze.

Well, I am not a member anymore (born into it)...but with a certain clergy comes also a certain followership...and, when I made that study on remarriage over 5 years ago, I also learned on American websites, that some idealistic pastor coming from the seminary, gets under "fire" by the elders of some church he first ministers in...because he needs a job/payment...but his idealistic view of the scriptures doesn't jive with what some other want to hear or not to hear and be taught...that's "realism" ...(of the kind I wouldn't want for me)
