There is no real expert like God himself...all what we humans do is observing and often do calculus on a probability basis...which can be faulty...so this study...pls. correct me ...or analysis, was one of the first or rather the first...a better could come with better observations...hard figures...however the figures are also not so easily dismissed as you and the other "friendly" posters are eager to do...just by saying I am an Indian...I travelled in India like the other etc. is not doing it with me...I lived in India...and the subcontinent altogether for almost 6 years...I am not knowing it like you do...but I lived there, during the Punjab...Amritsar...violence culminating in Indira Gandhi being shot and some pretty sick violence and disturbance...you can always argue, that some other nations are sicker...I live in one...which happens to be Germany and I am not proud to be one for it's injustice, it's violence and extermination-policy in recent history...even against the hereros in Southwest-Africa/Namibia in the beginning of the 20th century ...so I would like you to come down a bit from this we in the west against you in the east...even though you're not saying it...it is simply not so...
I love Jesus and believe in HIM and He was born in Israel and that is for me kind of in Asia minor...though Israel tries to be incorporated nowadays into a lot of European competitions...I don't know for what reason...
Again I argue...like I did before, that it is a huge difference, whether you talk about the countryside or the cityfolks...the middleclass-level and I think you seem to mix that up...

It's easy for India to always blame outside forces...that is the standard excuse...bit sad and sick and doesn't explain e.g. the Hindu violence at all...yes right...it's the sick Christian missionaries or indigenous Indian priests who merit that violence?Or it's always the muslims first??...don't you realise, that you pass to easily the buck??
You remind me a bit of the sick attitude of the Turks, who haven't really understood their grave crime against the Armenians...and that is sad...
As I said before:All is pretty well in India as long as you don't witness...especially to simple people...then you get sooner or later under the radar of the RSS...isn't it??
Have a wonderful time/life...in otherwise wonderful India...I still love it...admitably from my "too" special angle...but having a very special place in my heart for it...it might not be enough, my arguments for you...or of that study...but so be it....
