Oh my goodness, how absolutely wonderful that your wife was able to do something so meaningful for that old lady! That's the exact same feeling as I got last night. My husband said I just grinned like a Cheshire cat after they left because honestly, I felt so good about it, and I know that's exactly how your wife must have felt.
I think the most wonderful thing we can do for people is relieve them from their guilt and condemnation. I think that's why I'm having so much success with 20 year old dropouts who've been in and out of jail - they sense total acceptance from me which is what I sense from Jesus for them. Thank you for telling us that. Every time I hear of someone getting set free it just does something inside me.
