It is terrible to remember that even when you had forsaken literally everything, that you were always accused of not having forsaken enough. It didn't matter what you did, or you could be accused of forsaking for the wrong reasons. It was a never ending saga, I remember I was sent in to this one poor girl who leadership had decided had not forsaken all. I was told to go with her through her suitcase and help her 'forsake all'.
I did and I thought, this girl does not have anything to forsake. She had one suitcase of clothes, (but everything matched and was color coordinated.) I went back and told them she really didn't have anything to forsake, they could hardly believe me, but I stood firm,(it was winter and I knew the forsake all clothes were limited, not much for a tiny little girl like her)
It was like some people would just rub a leader the wrong way and they would go looking for something to pick at.
So surreal to remember it all now.
