I like the way you say it: good things that happen unexpectedly, like a form of good luck. I like to observe cause and effect and unexpectent things are always a wonder to me but I ask myself if perhaps there was not something somewhere that started to motion things in that direction, and the effect took place. I read a book once that said how the fly of a butterfly in Africa might cause the hurricane in the coast of Florida. Couldn't it be that a miracle is just the effect of that something we are not able to see or understand?

On the other hand, what about a greater power above the natural world? I lean towards believing in a God that is somehow accessible. In other words, that there must be ways to have access to that God. For the little I know and my experience, I have found the Christian God very accessible and I have found at least one way that allows me to have that access.

Having said that, I am also a little skeptical about healing emanating from another human being.
