My husband agrees that the Bible leaves out a lot of stuff, and is a very limited work for such a grand person such as God, and wonders why God didn't give us more. Of course, some present-day prophets and gurus would claim that they have the continuation of God's Word for today, such as the Mormons or Berg did, or even Moony, but that is where faith comes in play, you have to have faith in that group to believe that their word is God's word for today, as they would have you believe.
Here's a question, why do you think we have so many sects, cults and religions all stemming from the same God, Allah, Jehovah? Christianity alone is quite vast with almost each sect preaching that they hold the only truth. And the three main religions of Judaism, Islam and Christianity all stem from belief in the same God, but are vastly different in application and ritual, to the point of war through the centuries. Why is this?
