But He needs the person to also be involved, doesn't He? The person must believe and live by his faith, etc. etc.
There may be some in The Family who have some sort of relationship with the real Jesus and they may be in the process of leaving. Who are we to judge, but I can't see people in The Family and not either being sucked into their evil doctrines or in their way out, as slow as it may be.
The 4 kids were sent into the fire by the king and God's angel protected them. They didn't jump into the furnace. We were in a furnace too, having been tricked and taken advantage of our innocence. Like the 4 kids, we were protected then. Some Family members are probably being protected now too, but being part of a machinery to corrupt others and teaching that corruption to others is not something that can be readily dismissed and they cannot claim innocence anymore. Can they?
While we could make excuses because back then MO was not much in the public eye nor had his letters become the daily directives, that has changed now. The Family continues its effort to deceive the world pretending to be doing good but we know better. Current disciples know the doctrines and agree to continue them and teach them. Didn’t they sign a pledge of allegiance? They do not have the same excuse as first Family members did, they know, as we know, what those doctrines are.
Jesus speaking to them and trying to influence them is one thing, quite another is for them to be involved with the real Jesus.
