I'm a Christian who has an evangelical profession of faith and I believe the Bible but I'm not sure how that would make my worldview based on "patriarchial assumptions". I don't believe God is a male if that involves having male sexual organs and a long white beard. I attend a charistmatic church where women hold a leading role and they recently had a meeting explaining why women are equal to men in the church and not suboardinate. I don't personally hold "patriarchial" views that I know of. Or do I just not understand what you mean by the phrase? My wife and I make all decisions together, and this kind of equal partnership works very well.
