I've never been a member of the Family, but I know personally a lot of them since 15 years. I know the COG's old principles, but the Family members claim that they put away these practises, and Zerby asked for pardon from everyone whom they offended. In my country (EE) the Family members are really nice people, many of them nationals, and they really preach the Gospel. I read a few letters fom Peter and Maria that recommend really strange things, but I guess to follow their suggestion are up to us. Some of their proposal are against my conviction, but the members are adult people and they have the right to think what they want. You wrote about deception and breaking down abilities. Maybe I can't understand these, because I've never been a member of the Fam., and because I'm 60 years old.
