I agree with you Donny. I personally would not like to be sending money to an organization with the Family's history of involvement in criminal behaviors, but in addition, there's the reality of the scarcity of all resources. If you let people know you'll be there for them, that's smart, and any resources you declined to send to them in the Family can be there for them when they do leave. To some extent the communal economy in TF means that there is some kind of fallback, but once out, the Family will not consider helping people so it's all up to those of us who are already out to be there for our loved ones. And unlike Berg, I do not believe that the way to have more of something is to give it all away, throwing it at a black hole botomless and unfillable pit.
