Observer,

Well...there you go again. Misinterpreting what I've written, and some of your "facts" are incorrect.

Yes, I agree that the immorality and superior attitude were allready present in the COG by 1974, but at least as far as the rank and file members in Latin America were concerned, we were completely unaware of what was going on in the inner circle of COG leadership! Yes, we had read "Women in Love" and "Flirty Fishes" but our leaders made no comments about implementation of this stuff. I suspected that they were just as stunned by those letters as we sheep were.

As far as "Old church new Church" I don't recall anyone saying that it was about Berg giving mother Eve the boot and replacing her with Maria. When I left the COG's Rio De Janeiro colony, there was no sexual hanky-panky of any sort allowed. In fact, it was a few years later that the entire COG leadership in South America was demoted and replaced with new leaders. The reason for the change? The leadership had failed to implement the sexual revolution to the extent that Berg desired.

I never read any letter about Abrahim or about revolutionary sex while I was in the Central American and Brizilian colonies. Perhaps the more conservative leadership in our region chose not to share those letters with their flock. Since I am fluent in Spanish, I was usually called upon to translate new Mo letters for the Spanish-speaking members. If the letters you mentioned were available during that time frame, I would remember translating them.

The moral tailspin I referred to is the active implementation of FFing, sharing, adult/child sex, etc. which absolutely did not occur among the rank and file membership until well after I left in 1974. In fact, I was even reprimanded by Watchman himself in 1973, for having kissed a Costa Rican sister. Inother words, the environment in the Central American colonies at that time was very much no sex or sexual contact of any kind unless you were married!

I am confident that many other ex-COG members can confirm what I have written here. If you had knowledge of immoral behavior among the inner circle of COG leadership as early as 1974, then you must have been a member of that inner circle. Is this what you are claiming? If not, then how did you know?

My statement that the moral tailspin did not begin until after I left the COG in 1974 is factual. Yes, the seeds of immorality had allready been planted and the highest levels of COG leadership were allready secretly engaged in sexual immorality, but the rest of us were still expected to be chaste.
