I've been wondering why I'm spending so much time lately reading stuff at this website or even opened myself up to discussion of the spiritual journey. I may be trying to make peace with that part of myself that has a christian identity. It's been a some time since I've read intelligent Christian apologetics. It's also been a while since I've been around people self-identified as Christian who didn't make my skin crawl.
My favorite quote on this topic is by GK Chesterton: The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult; and left untried.
