Oh gosh, I remember the same- I really hit a low point over the Law of Love series. It was hyped up big time before finally being sent to the Homes to be read (??1998 or so???), and it was another SUPER complicated set of rules designed to INCREASE the amount of sexual sharing going on, continue to ban birth control, and make it a rule (with of course tons of complicated exceptions) about couple haveing to stay together if a baby resulted (what was it, a minimum of 18 months or something?).

But of course the new "men take responsibility" wave did nothing to help us older single mothers. I found that out right away- one of my youngest kids' father was in Maria & Peter's Home and of course HE was the exception, he didn't have to take responsibility for my/his son, HIS ministry was too important. I got this super long "prohecy/message" from Dad about this, and of course how could you "argue" with that?

And of course, this was the series that really started pushing the idea that older FGA men should get together with SGA women. Another slap in the face to the older single moms.

Oh well, there's always a silver lining- this Series and the results it had in my life personally was what finally made me decide I'd had way more than enough and it was time to run.
