It absolutely thrills me to know that this site is giving people in the family the faith to leave. And I'm also very glad you read Ed's article on tithing because that is so liberating and is the complete truth. That article is foundational for anyone who still has financial ties to the family. I'm glad you read it and that it confirmed what you already suspected. It's so refreshing to hear from someone who so recently got set free from all those lies.
If you ever need help or prayer I hope you'll contact me. I also wrote an article on this site about all the ways God has shown up in my life since I left the family 17 years ago - such a far cry from the earth swallowing me up for being a "backslider."
