True - but I always felt that Patty Hearst got a bum deal. Here she was a normal, energetic, ready to be married young girl and boom, she gets kidnapped, put in a closet, made to feel that her abducters are her saviors - boy I can sure see the pattern there in mind-control. Also, the courts never had a listening ear to the women who finally oft their abusers as the only way to be free of them. Now they are listening and attitudes are changing. I have no sympathy for the Menendez brothers or Son of Sam. I can't put them in the same sentence.
