Yeah, the Family prides itself in having it's own doctrine, methods, and language. Plus, you are stay seperate and not read the garbage from the system. You can only watch movies that stay true to the Family-line, or read books that keep you on the right track. I personlly think that for the Family, reading Christian theology books was the biggest threat. Did you read "Ricky's" little testimony about how Sara berated him for listening to a Christian radio station instead of brainwashing himself with Mo Letters! Surprisingly enough, the Family uses quite a bit of "system" Christian materials in the form of their "Reflections" GP material. This is supposed to be a bait I guess. I wish people would realise that it's so dangerous to allow yourself to be put in such a closed society even if it looks so good from the outside. My God, my husband changed from wearing briefs to boxer shorts because it was done "in Daddy's house". What a joke! It would be funny, but that's the way we were taught... do it "Daddy's way" and then you'll be on the right track. Yuk!!!
