there is an article I saved from an Armenian journalist who discusses this. It's an amazing article and when I have time and can find it, I'll post it for you. It was very moving for me. He talked about how he had grown up hating Turks - after all, they had killed his mother and his father had to flee with him. Now in the States, he played games growing up killing Turks. His father, however, never encouraged this attitude. As a young man, one day his father brought home some Turkish gentlemen who were visiting the states and this journalist became very angry which brought on a discussion between them. In the end, the father said, these are not the Turks who killed your mother, the Turk who killed your mother was killed by a Kurdish tribesman who took us to his home. Well, that's the gist of it, I'll try and find it, it was really moving.
